There will be no need to closure due to COVID-19 in Azerbaijan, MP says

"If look at the trend of infection with COVID-19 in the world since the beginning of this year, we can say that we could not also insure ourselves from the concerning problems in the world. We have also faced with the difficult times when the first or the second wave occurred in the infection in the world”, a member of the Health Committee of the Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan Soltan Mammadov told in an interview with APA.

S. Mammadov noted that today the only way a fight against coronavirus in the world is the vaccine: “Currently, although the coronavirus cases increase in the neighbor Russia, there is not any closure. I am sure that there will be no need to closures also in Azerbaijan”.

The member of the Health Committee noted that the relevant steps are taken in order to expand the vaccination process: “The positive case in Azerbaijan is that the vaccination process is successfully implemented, four vaccines have been presented to people”.
