Third dose of vaccine recommended for medical workers and those over 60 years of age

Ministry of Health, State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance and Management Union of Medical Territorial Units has disseminated joint information, APA reports.

According to the information, In accordance with the “Vaccination strategy for 2021-2022 against COVID-19 disease in the Republic of Azerbaijan”, the vaccination process is underway in the country.

According to the last researches, it is recommended to vaccinate all medical workers who received every 2 doses of vaccine, people over the ages of 60, and those with a weak immune system with the thirds dose (“buster” dose).
