WHO representative: “Masks should be worn in crowded places and indoor”

“From the middle of May coronavirus cases and death toll decreased,” Hande Harmanci, Head of the World Health Organization Office in Azerbaijan told APA.

She noted that it is a very good case: “It seems that third wave has passed. The quarantine regime has been eased, weddings started. In general, people feel good. However, we should be careful, should wear masks in crowded places, indoor. We should bear in mind that September-October is very dangerous for us, because there was an increase in the number of coronavirus cases in autumn too. We do not know exactly what the "Delta strain" will look like. If the states do not take the necessary measures, I think there will be another increase from September.”
