Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-General of the World Health Organization has called unfair distribution of vaccine against coronavirus in the world a disgrace, said director –General in the 74th World Health Assembly held in Geneva, APA reports.
Mr. Ghebreyesus noted that unfair distribution of the vaccine prolongs a fight with pandemic.
He noted that this year level of coronavirus cases has exceeded a level in 2020.
WHO director-general noted that situation regarding the pandemic in the world remains very dangerous.
He noted that in accordance with the information May 23, The WHO has received information that 166,346,635 people have been infected with the coronavirus and 3,449,117 have died.
