The filming of the movie about the Jews of Oghuz Mountain, jointly produced by Azerbaijani and Israeli cinematographers, has ended, APA reports.
The film is about the history of mountain Jews who settled in Azerbaijan’s Oghuz.
The protagonist of the film is rabbi Shmuel Simantov, public figure, originally from Oghuz region, who conveys Azerbaijani realities to the world.
The screenwriter and director of the film is Rufat Asadov, the cinematographers are Mahir Atakishiyev, Roman Isakov, and the executive producer is Shaul Siman-Tov.
Filming of the movie was conducted in various regions of Azerbaijan, Israel, US, and Germany.
Note that this screenplay is the 5th film from Rufat Asadov's "Mountain Jews" series.
