New sanctions on Russia can be imposed, US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said during an interview to CBS, APA reported.

“We have and we are we've taken steps that have already prevented a number of Russian military sales as a result of the legislation. And we are evaluating additional individuals for possible sanctioning,” Tillerson said answering the question on why the sanctions that Congress wants to see put on Russia were not fully implemented.

The US Finance Ministry prepared the Kremlin report that put a total of 210 Russians on the list.

The list does not automatically mean the imposition of sanctions against the people in the list. The Congress may, for example, apply various sanctions, particularly on the basis of the information on its confidential portion, including a ban on travel and freezing assets in the US.

At the same time, including into the "black list" means restricting the ability of these people to expand their businesses.
