Turkey’s national defense minister Hulusi Akar has sent a letter to the family of Valeh Mamiyev, martyred senior lieutenant of Azerbaijani Army who promised him “we will liberate our lands from the occupation”, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.
An employee of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence has delivered the letter to family members of V. Mamiyev living in Kurakci village of Yardimli district.
“We are deeply saddened by the martyrdom of Senior Lieutenant Valeh Mamiyev who was seriously wounded during the 44-day war in which Glorious Azerbaijani liberated the territories occupied by Armenia. Senior Lieutenant Valeh kept his word regarding liberating territories of the motherland from occupation. He was martyred in the liberation of one of the settlements in Gubadli region. The courage, heroism, and selflessness of our martyrs and veterans will never be forgotten,” H. Akar said in the letter.
Turkish Minister noted in the letter that Turkey will be with Azerbaijan to the end with all its possibilities.
