APA’s Georgian bureau reports that Azerbaijan exported 917.6 million kWh of energy in 2017, up 8.4-fold from previous year.
Moreover, Georgia imported 452.2 million kWh of energy from Russia, 127.4 million kWh from Armenia.
Georgia exported 685.7 million kWh in the reporting period, including 284.5 million kWh to Turkey, 261.9 million kWh to Russia, 1.7 million kWh to Azerbaijan and 137.5 million kWh to Armenia.
At the same time, 254 million kWh of energy was exported through Georgia. Of this, 205.1 million kWh was exported from Azerbaijan to Turkey, 42.2 million kWh from Russia to Armenia and 6.7 million kWh from Russia to Turkey.
