The Russian ambassador has been summoned to Serbia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), APA reports citing RIA Novosti.

The Russian diplomat has been summoned to Serbia’s MFA in order to verbally explain the situation connected with the post shared by press secretary of Russia’s MFA Maria Zakharova on her official Facebook account.

Note that the spokeswoman of the Russian MFA Maria Zakharova shared on her page on Facebook social network the photo depicting the Serbian President Alexander Vucic sitting on the chair in front of the table of his American counterpart Donald Trump.

And then Zakharova added under that photo a film photograph depicting Sharon Stown crossing her legs in the famous cinema film “Basic instinct”. The Serbian government gave strict response to that sharing. The spokeswoman of the Russian MFA apologized and said her sharing has been misunderstood.
