Protests continue in Armenia, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

One of the leaders of the Resistance movement, Ishkhan Saghatelyan, called on the Armenian police not to succumb to pressure from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and not take illegal actions against the demonstrators. The politician stated this during the march, when the protesters were at the police building.

According to the oppositionist, Pashinyan will try by all means to make the police accomplices in illegal actions.

Saghatelyan accused the security forces of using disproportionate force against demonstrators.

"Once again I urge you to stay within the framework of the Constitution! Otherwise, all those who commit lawlessness will be held accountable. We will record those who use violence," he said.

The oppositionist warned the commander of the internal troops: the security forces should act exclusively within the framework of the law and "be more restrained."
