The West is trying to start a "propaganda war" against Russia and the Russians, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during a wreath-laying ceremony at the Foreign Ministry's memorial plaque on Victory Day, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.
"Of course, we must always remember the lessons from history. Moreover, now the West is trying to tear up these glorious pages of our history, erase all the work done, similarize those who won Nazism with criminals, make us the main culprits of this war, and promote Nazism manifestations in modern Europe." said the Russian Foreign Minister.
According to him, a "propaganda war" has been launched against Russia and the Russians, which is a manifestation of racism and discrimination, and now is reaching the level of absurdity.
