Russian media continues provocations against Azerbaijan, APA’s correspondent in Moscow reports.
The Russia-24 news channel has joined the “marathon” of anti-Azerbaijan provocation after “Channel One” and “Komsomolskaya Pravda” newspaper.
A Washington document on the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations was put into discussion in a 4-minute reportage aired on the channel. And again with the participation of experts of Armenian origin. This time, with the participation of the Russian expert of Armenian origin Semyon Arkadyevich Bagdasarov, and a political commentator from Yerevan Hayk Khalatyan, the impossibility of remaining of Karabakh in the part of Azerbaijan was mentioned on the air of the Russian state channel. It was noted that this proposal of Washington does not meet the interest of Armenia at all.
Provocative thoughts were voiced in the reportage that the peace agreement to be signed between Azerbaijan and Armenia is not in accordance with Armenia's national interests, that Azerbaijan has not made any concessions, and that if Karabakh remains in part of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan will allegedly subject the Armenian population to the ethnic cleansing.
Besides that, it was noted in the reportage that in accordance with the Washington reportage, Baku and Yerevan will be able to discuss the withdrawal of the Russian peacekeepers from Karabakh: "Recalling Azerbaijan's sovereignty in that document shows that the main decisions will be made by Baku. The matter of the Zangazur corridor has been touched on. It is briefed that after the corridor’s opening, Armenia’s Western-oriented government may raise the issues of the expediency of the Russian military base in Gumri and Armenia quitting CSTO with the support of Brussels and Washington.
