CEC Chairman comments on news of casting a ballot instead of dead persons

“Facts in relation to casting a ballot instead of dead persons, should be presented to the Central Election Commission”, Chairman of the Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov told journalists, APA reports.

Chairman of the CEC stated that names of these persons should be presented to CEC: “You should give us these names, so we will take measures on them. We should know who casts a ballot instead of another person and instead of whom they vote. If there was such a violation, certainly measures will be taken. According to the information I received, a died person has been sent a notification. We have investigated the issue. Generally, it was an unusual case.”
