Serious work is also being done in the direction of creating reserves of basic food products and as a result of this, the government achieved to provide the population with the necessary food products, said Azerbaijan’s Prime Minister Ali Asadov at the plenary meeting of the III Eurasian Congress in Sochi on June 9, APA reports.
“By the instruction of the head of state, in July 2022, the Cabinet of Ministers issued an order on increasing the level of self-sufficiency in wheat and providing state support to local producers.
Parallel measures are being taken to increase the reserves of the State Grain Fund and forming food supply,” noted the Prime Minister.
