National leader Heydar Aliyev saw Turkiye as a reliable bridge for Azerbaijan's access to the world and its integration into the international community, said Azerbaijan’s Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov at the panel “100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev” within the 26th Eurasian Economic Summit, APA’s Istanbul correspondent reports.
According to him, in this aspect, Heydar Aliyev showed determination in the issue of the participation of Turkiye in Azerbaijan’s main energy projects, on passing of the transportation routes of energy resources namely from Turkiye.
“Because Heydar Aliyev was sure that energy security projects such as Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum could not be realized without the participation of Turkiye in the condition of the collision of regional conflicts and interests in the complicated geo-political space,” the minister stressed.
