Companies leaving Russia provide jobs for more than 200,000 people-Forbes

Forbes magazine said that international companies that have partially or completely left Russia provide jobs for about 200,000 people in the country, APA-Ecconomics reports citing the Magazine.

The publication clarified that one of the largest employers who left the country is the McDonald’s restaurant chain. The company employs 62,000 Russians.

Pepsico is the second largest company in terms of the number of employees. About 19 thousand people work at the enterprises controlled by it. IKEA, which has closed all Russian stores except for 14 Mega shopping centers, employs 15,000 people.

Another company that employs a large number of Russians is Yum! Brands, which owns the KFC and Pizza Hut brands. They have 14.5 thousand employees. The work of 70 restaurants is currently frozen.
