Greece extended a national lockdown for one more week or until December 14, aiming to curb the spreading of COVID-19, Stelios Petsas, a spokesman for the Greek governemnt, said on Thursday, APA reports citing Teletrader.
"There is a stabilisation or rather a decline in the cases but at a slower pace than expected," Petsas unveiled at a press briefing.
The government was originally expected to ease the lockdown measures starting from November 30 but it opted to extend the curbs until December 7.
