Escaped from Turkiye with millions of dollars, fraudster Faruk Fatih Özer is arrested in Albania

Faruk Fatih Özer, who was declared internationally wanted has been arrested from Albanian authorities, APA reports citing ABC news.

The news was announced by the ABC journalist, Aldo Kozarja, who reports that the Turkish citizen accused of defrauding hundreds millions of dollars, was resting on a beach in the south of the country, when he was arrested.

Sources for ABC inform that since he escaped from Turkey, Faruk Ozer lived in different places, while he recently lived in the “5 May” neighborhood in Elbasan.

It has been learned that Faruk Fatih Özer was accompanied with E.H, who was also arrested.

Faruk Fatih Özer escaped from Turkey by defrauding thousands of citizens, who had invested their money in the Turkish virtual currency “Thodex”, which declared bankruptcy.
