"It's regrettable situation that we're still waiting for the ratification of Türkiye and Hungary for our NATO membership," says Pekka Haavisto, Foreign Minister of Finland to journalists before the meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, APA reports.
"We had trilateral meetings with Sweden and Türkiye in Helsinki and Stockholm last year. I hope that, this year we will soon have a new trilateral meeting. Because it is a significant isue for security of Finland and Sweden," said Foreign Minister of Finland.
Finnish Minister also talked about sending Leopard tanks to Ukraine.
