Azerbaijan will host The European Boxing Championship for men and women under the age of 22, APA reports citing the boxing federation.
European Boxing Confederation announced the decision in Assisi, Italy.
According to the voting results, Azerbaijan won the right to host the competition prevailing over other candidates, Bulgaria and Romania. The European Championship will take place in October-November in Baku. The exact date of the competition bringing the strongest of the continent and being hosted by Azerbaijan for the first time will be known in these days.
