Azerbaijan’s defence and national security expenditures expected to be AZN 4,6 billion for next year

Defense and national security expenditures in the state budget for next year are expected to be AZN 4 billion 585 million 806 thousand 638, APA reports.

It has been reflected in the draft law “On the state budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021”.

According to the draft, AZN 1 billion 934 million 288 thousand 659 will be allocated for defense forces, AZN 260 million 612 thousand 183 will be allocated for national security, AZN 281 million 620 thousand 334 will be allocated for border service, AZN 3 million 901 thousand 203 will be allocated for practical researches in defense and national security fields, and AZN 2 billion 105 million 384 thousand 259 will be allocated for other activities regarding defense and national security field.
