Azerbaijan is represented at ADB’s annual meeting

The 56th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is being held in Incheon, South Korea, APA-Economics reports.

At the meeting which will last until May 5, Azerbaijan is represented by the delegation led by the Minister of Finance, a member of the Bank's Board of Directors Samir Sharifov.

Note that the meeting held under the theme "Revival of Asia: recovery, reconnection, and reform" is being held in a virtual format for the first time since the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Within the framework of the annual meeting, which brings together about 5,000 participants, including high-ranking state and government officials of member countries, international financial institutions, representatives of the private sector and civil society, the current situation and key directions of the future development of the current situation of the global economy, deepening economic cooperation among member countries, support of new economic challenges emerged in the post-pandemic period, inclusive development problems of the regional countries and other global issues are discussed.
