FM: Azerbaijan is determined to reintegrate citizens of Armenian origin living in Karabakh into the country's social and economic space

“Ensuring the rights and freedoms of all Azerbaijani citizens equally and without discrimination, regardless of ethnic or religious affiliation, Azerbaijani side is determined to reintegrate citizens with Armenian origin living in Nagorno-Karabakh into the country's social and economic space,” said Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at a video conference meeting at the Executive Secretariat of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP) on "Glorious Victory in the Patriotic War: View to the future of Azerbaijan and the region", APA reports.

The Minister has noted that the Constitution of Azerbaijan ensures an appropriate legal base: “Our views on the future development, restoration, and reconstruction activities of the region have been clearly expressed by the head of state, and the statements have been made on the new cooperation platforms in the region. The framework of such cooperation and collaboration can certainly be beneficial for all countries in the region.

The framework of cooperation can form multilateral cooperation platforms with the participation of regional states. The model of future development of the region presented by the President at a joint press briefing with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on December 10 has clearly expressed the views for a new era after Victory: There are traditional Turkish-Azerbaijani-Georgian cooperation, as well as Azerbaijan-Russia-Iran, as well as Turkey-Russia-Iran cooperation. We can summarize all these cooperation platforms and present them as a single platform. If Armenian leadership can get correct conclusions from the war, and gives up its baseless claims, looks to the future with a healthy mind, at that time, they can a place in that platform. So, the risk of future war can be reduced to zero in the region”
