Russian MFA: Azerbaijani Army’s training not pose risk to stability and security

“Training planned to be held in Azerbaijan do not pose a risk to stability and security in the region,” said a spokesperson of Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Russia at today’s briefing while responding to the question of Armenian journalist regarding military exercises planned to be held in Azerbaijan on March 15 threatens the implementation of trilateral statement on Karabakh, APA’sMoscow correspondent reports.

“Usually, the military exercises are conducted by the whole Southern Caucasus countries. These exercises are conducted on a regular basis and the relevant information is delivered to the interested sides on time. According to the information we have, the military exercises in Azerbaijan are planned and directed to increase the combat readiness of troops. Exercises do not pose risk for stability and security in the region” said the Russian MFA.
