On April 22, the President of the Albanian Republic Ilir Meta made a phone call to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.
During the conversation, the presidents expressed their satisfaction with development of friendly relations between Azerbaijan and Albania in various spheres. The leaders of state said the Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline project is realized successfully and stressed that this project makes contribution to the activity dedicated to strengthening of both the relations between our countries and the international cooperation.
During the phone conversation, the visit of Ilir Meta to Azerbaijan was remembered with pleasure, and the significance of this visit was noted in terms of development of bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev and President Ilir Meta discussed the issues related to the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
The Albanian President invited the Azerbaijani President to make official visit to his country.
The invitation was kindly accepted.
