Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine issued an appeal

Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine appealed to the citizens of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Due to the unsatisfactory security conditions in Ukraine, the embassy appeals to the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who live in the country and are on a temporary visit, and recommends taking into account the following:

- Avoid traveling to regions where active military operations are ongoing, as well as regions subject to intense air attacks;

- Stay away from military units and defense industry enterprises, including other military facilities that may be potential targets;

- Be careful when traveling within the country, choose the route carefully, and be as sure of safety as possible;

- Do not visit public places where the population gathers if there is no serious need;

- Carry a valid identity document, taking into account that checkpoints are operating within the country;

- Complying with curfews and other security requirements of competent authorities;

- Keep valid travel documents ready (citizens who do not have valid documents are requested to contact the embassy to arrange their documents as possible);

- Know the available shelters in the areas near where they are, stay in the shelter during a weather emergency, if it is not possible, take shelter in the lower floors of buildings, stay away from windows and doors, follow official information about the situation;

-Contacting the embassy in case of an emergency;

- To be in contact with the activists of the existing Azerbaijani diaspora organizations where they are;

- Our citizens intending to visit Ukraine should postpone their trips if there is no serious need until the security situation gets well.
