Petition on Khojaly Genocide presented to Canada Parliament

A petition has been presented to Canada Parliament on Khojaly Genocide with the organization of the Network of Azerbaijani Canadians, APA reports.

The petition has been published as an official petition with the support of member of the Canadian Parliament from Conservative party Mr. Michael Cooper and has been presented to the Parliament with signs of more than 1500 Canadian citizens.

While presenting the petition in parliament last day, Michael Cooper said that the Khojaly massacre was the bloodiest page of the Karabakh conflict and that as a result of the conflict, Azerbaijani territories were occupied by Armenia and more than 800,000 Azerbaijanis were expelled from their lands.
