Russian Deputy PM: Baku and Yerevan  have agreement on where railway will pass

"There are 2-3 disagreements, but generally the text is ready at a high level," said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk while speaking about the opening of communications in the South Caucasus, APA's Moscow correspondent reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

According to him, last meeting of Deputyi Prime Ministers of Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia lasted 9 hours.

Overchuk noted that based on the results of this meeting, there is an agreement on the principle points - where the railway will pass, how customs control will be carried out.

It will be an ordinary railway. No one doubts Armenia's sovereignty. All the sides want to start the process of opening of communications soon," said Russian official.

Russian Deputy Prime Minister also added that the possibilties of border control by the Federal Security Service of the Russia will depend on Armenia.
