Russian Foreign Ministry says relations with Azerbaijan are developing on upward trend

"Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan have passed the test of strength for many years and are developing on an upward trend," said Deputy Director of the Foreign Ministry Information and Press Department Ivan Nechayev at today's briefing in a response to the question of "What is the importance of relations with Azerbaijan for Russia from partnership point of view in the background of changing world?", APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"Relations between Russia and Azerbaijan have passed the test of strength for many years and are on an upward trend. We have a very active contact schedule," the Russian diplomat said.
