This evening, the Armenian armed forces targeted the Mingachevir Thermal Power Plant (TPP).

One of the missiles landed in close proximity to the energy block in Mingachevir but did not explode.

At present, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and ANAMA representatives are involved in the area.

ANAMA employee Musa Mammadov said that the missile was launched from the SMERCH device.

Up to 2 meters of the missile remained on top of the ground, and 5 meters below the ground.

According to him, the missile was dug with the help of special equipment, and the warhead will be investigated.

An ANAMA official said that the missile's mechanism did not work properly. If an explosion occurred, the power blocks could be damaged.

The Prosecutor General's Office said that three rockets were fired at Mingachevir. Two of them did not explode. One missile landed in close proximity to the energy block in Mingachevir.
