In January-February of this year, 2.3 mln tones of cargo, 838,2 thousand passengers were transported via railway transport in Azerbaijan, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.
According to the information, 7,2% increase has been observed in cargo transportation, while 72,3% increase has been observed in passenger transportation in comparison to the related period of 2019.
According to the information, during a day, 15,3 thousand tons of loading work has been carried out over North direction, 3,4 thousand tons West direction, and 1,0 thousand tons to South direction.
