“Within the framework of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project, signed among Azerbaijani, Georgian and Turkish governments, we will achieve faster and shorter transit transportation by the agreement on preliminary information exchange to facilitate transit customs procedures,” acting chairman Sahin Bagirov said at the meeting and signing ceremony of the Tripartite Committee on Customs Issues between the governments of Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Georgia, First Deputy Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
“The interest in cargo transportation and the number of transportations will increase by means of BTK. In its turn, it will positively impact the development of our economy,” noted Sh. Bagirov.
