The Deputy Defense Minister - Commander of the Land Forces, Lieutenant General Anvar Afandiyev met with the delegation, led by the rector of the National Defense University of the Republic of Türkiye, Professor Erhan Afyoncu, APA reports citing Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The Turkish delegation is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
Lieutenant General A. Afandiyev greeted the guests and expressed his satisfaction to see them in Azerbaijan.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that the bilateral military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye is based on friendly and brotherly relations.
An exchange of views on the further development of military education as part of joint cooperation with the fraternal country, as well as a number of issues of mutual interest were held at the meeting.
Then, the guests were given a briefing on the establishment history and the main activities of the Land Forces Command.
In the end, the Turkish delegation visited the Battle Control Center of the Land Forces and was provided with the necessary information about the center.
