On June 20-24, 2022, a visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Kingdom of Belgium and Switzerland with the participation of Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan - ANAMA- Samir Poladov, Interdepartmental Center of the Coordination Headquarters for rehabilitation and reconstruction of the liberated territories- Sultan Hajiyev, Ministry of Foreign Affairs -Jafar Huseynzade and Vugar Gurbanov was organized, ANAMA told APA.
During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation held a series of meetings with representatives of a number of EU institutions and EU member states, officials of the Kingdom of Belgium and Switzerland, and relevant bodies of NATO and the UN.
The main purpose of the meetings was to inform about the humanitarian mine problem in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan from the occupation and its obstacles to reconstruction, as well as the return of former IDPs, large-scale activity in the demining field in the country, upcoming goals, discussions on current and future cooperation.
