Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan-Head of the Department of Foreign Policy Affairs of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmat Hajiyev reacts to Armenia’s claim that Azerbaijan shot down an Armenian fighter jet, and explains why, after decades of conflict, Nagorno-Karabakh is still under occupation, APA reports.

"We also made the same statement and it's a propaganda and it's a disinformation. Azerbaijan doesn't have an f-16 and also it's a quite a ridiculous that we have checked all our radar systems and even from the territory of Armenia there was no take of su-25 military aircrafts on the territory of Armenia. How someone uh can hit a military aircraft if there was nothing such a case it once again demonstrates that it's in a fact of disinformation and propaganda from Armenian side on a regular basis they are conducting such in a propaganda," Mr Hikmet Hajiyev said while answering the question of Presenter on "Listen I first have to raise an issue with you that has hasn't quite been mentioned yet but it has just come out that Armenia is now accusing Azerbaijan actually of shooting down one of its fighter jets. I first want to get your response to that turkey has already said it's absolutely false information. Let's hear from your administration."
