Iranian Embassy to Azerbaijan has commented on the video footage reflecting fuel and food transportation to occupied Azerbaijani territories by trucks belonging to Iran, press service of Embassy told APA.
According to Embassy, on the threshold of comprehensive and extensive development of Tehran-Baku relations, our enemies and forces that do not want the development of our relations are trying to overshadow the good neighborhood relations between the two countries by disseminating fake videos amid to prevent this development process.
“Refuting the disseminated news we bring into the notice of the Republic of Azerbaijan that the Islamic Republic of Iran has no land or air traffic with the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Over the past years, Armenians tried to damage the existing ties between the two countries with a video or selfie. As it seemed, time and location are unknown in the mentioned fake video and news is completely fake. Our expectation from the Azerbaijani mass media is that before disseminating any news, they should clarify the accuracy of this news and refrain from disseminating the news without reliable sources,” the statement reads.
