“As the Turkic world, we lost many people including our friends, loved ones due to coronavirus pandemic during the past period. Despite this, we experienced the joy of liberation of Nagorno-Karabakh from 30-year occupation,” according to the letter of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed to the participants of the Turkic World Meteorological Forum held in Ankara, APA’s bureau in Turkey reports.

Erdogan congratulated Azerbaijani people on the occasion of victory, gained in the 44-day Patriotic War: “Our experiences in both Nagorno-Karabakh war, and during the pandemic showed the importance of unity, equality, and solidarity of the Turkic world in every field from military to diplomacy, from healthcare to agriculture, from tourism to energy. We saw again that we are a great family of 300 million people, who speak the same language, belong to the same religion, and have a single history, a single culture.  We must strengthen these ties, develop cooperation among us much more in the future."
