Ottaviano municipality of Naples city of Italy has adopted a document titled “UN Security Council Resolutions 822, 853, 874 and 884 on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict must be implemented immediately”, Azerbaijani Embassy to Italy told APA.

The document with the same name was also adopted by the Municipality of Liveri in Naples.

The documents note that 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands including Nagorno Garabagh and 7 surrounding regions were occupied as a result of Armenia’s aggression and ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijan, more than one million people became refugees and IDPs, war crimes and Khojaly genocide were conducted against Azerbaijanis.

It is noted that the resolutions of the UN Security Council and General Assembly supporting sovereignty, territorial integrity, and internationally recognized borders of Azerbaijan, recognizes Nagorno Garabagh as an integral part of Azerbaijan, and demands the immediate withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from those occupied territories.
