Armenia again breaks ceasefire with Azerbaijan
Over the past 24 hours, Armenia’s armed forces have 113 times violated the ceasefire along the line of contact between Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, using large-caliber machine guns, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told APA on April 24.
The Azerbaijani army’s positions in Gaymagli, Gushchu Ayrim villages of Gazakh district were shelled from the Armenian army’s positions located in Voskevan village and on nameless heights in Armenia’s Noyemberyan district.
Meanwhile, Armenia’s armed units stationed in Chinari village and on nameless heights in Berd district opened fired at the Azerbaijani army’s positions located in Aghbulag, Garalar villages and on nameless heights in Tovuz district.
The Azerbaijani army’s positions in Zamanli village and on nameless heights in Gadabay district came under fire from the Armenian army’s positions located on nameless heights in Krasnoselsk district.
Positions of the Azerbaijani army were also shelled from the positions located near the Armenian-occupied Chilaburt village of Tartar district, Taghibeyli, Bash Garvand, Javahirli, Garagashli, Shirvanli, Yusifjanli, Marzili villages of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino village of Khojavend district, Ashaghi Veysalli, Gobu Dilagharda, Garakhanbeyli, Ashaghi Seyidahmadli, Gorgan, Kurdlar villages of Fuzuli district, as well as from the positions located on nameless heights in Goranboy, Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavend and Fuzuli districts.
Dealing with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is the OSCE Minsk Group, which was created after the meeting of the CSCE (OSCE after the Budapest summit held in December 1994) Ministerial Council in Helsinki on 24 March 1992. The Group’s members include Azerbaijan, Armenia, Russia, the United States, France, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Belarus, Finland and Sweden.
