“Everyone should also know this history, in November 1920, with the decision of the Soviet government, without any grounds, our historical land - Western Zangazur was separated from Azerbaijan and given to Armenia, said President Ilham Aliyev in his speech at a meeting with representatives of the public in Aghali village of Zangilan district on May 27, APA reports.
“It was the next enmity and injustice against our people. Because Azerbaijani people have lived for centuries in both east and west of Zangazur and all toponyms, national composition of all villages of Western Zangazur, which is currently in the area of Armenia were belong to Azerbaijani people,” noted President.
