An official welcome ceremony has been held for President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius, Lithuania on May 22, APA's correspondent assigned to Vilnius reports.
A guard of honor was arranged for President Ilham Aliyev at the square decorated with national flags of Azerbaijan and Lithuania.
President of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda welcomed President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
National anthems of Azerbaijan and Lithuania were performed.
The chief of the guard of honor reported to the Azerbaijani President. The Presdients reviewed the guard of honor.
Members of Lithuanian delegation were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev, while state and government officials of Azerbaijan were introduced to Gitanas Nausėda.
