Azerbaijan involves foreign specialists in the creation of the Coordinating Center in connection with organ transplantation

"Today, the issue of organ transplantation was discussed at the meeting of the Health Committee of the Milli Majlis," Rashad Mahmudov, Deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis Health Committee told APA.

R. Mahmudov noted that the Ministry of Health invited foreign experts in this area to the country and held discussions on the preparation of coordination mechanisms with the participation of local and foreign experts: “Work in this direction is at the final stage. We will probably see the result soon."

It should be noted that the Coordinating Center for Organ Donation and Transplantation should be created in the status of a subordinate institution that is not part of the structure of the Ministry of Health.
