Azerbaijan to export gas to Turkey with new terms within framework of "Shah Deniz-1"

Within the framework of stage 1 of the development of the "Shah Deniz" gas-condensate field ("Shah Deniz-1"), which is in the Azerbaijan sector of the Caspian Sea, a three-year agreement has been reached regarding the transportation of gas from Azerbaijan toTurkey, APA-Economics reports citing Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.

According to information, in accordance with new agreement, 3,5 bln cubic meters (previously it was 6.6 billion cubic meters - ed.) gas will be delivered to Turkey annually. Alongside this, within the framework of the second stage of development of the Shah Deniz field (Shah Deniz-2). 6 bln cubic meters of gas will be exported to Turkey annually.
