A meeting has been held between Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.

At the joint press conference after meeting, Stoltenberg stressed that Russia sent thousands of servicemen, who are ready for war, to the border with Ukraine in recent days, and he follow the situation with concern.

According to him, many Ukrainian soldiers were killed in the clashes in the east of Ukraine in recent days: "Russia's deployment its sevicemen on the border with Ukraine is illegal and causes deep concern. Russia should immediately stop its deployment servicemen around Ukraine, put an end to provocations, and decrease tension."

Secretary-General has also made an appeal to Russia regarding the following international obligations: "NATO's support to Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty is inviolable. We will not accept Russia's annexation of Crimea. NATO continues to stand by Ukraine."
