Deficit of Azerbaijani trade turnover with Russia decreases by more than 18%

In January – October of the current year, the volume of trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Russia amounted to USD 2,195 bln. and this is USD 245,536 mln. or 10,1% less than compared to the relevant period of the previous year, according to the calculations conducted by APA-Economics based on the report of the State Statistics Committee.

During the reporting period, the volume of the export decreased by USD 4,519 mln. or 0,8% amounted to USD 565,560 mln., the volume of import decreased by USD 241,018 mln. or 12,9% amounted to USD 1,629 bln.

As a result, in the ten months of this year, the trade deficit amounted to USD 1,063 billion and this is USD 236,499 mln. or 18,2% less compared to the same period of the previous year.
