Azerbaijan's trade turnover with CIS countries increased by 6%

The volume of Azerbaijan’s trade turnover with CIS countries has risen to USD 2,792 bln increasing by 6.3% in January-August of this year in comparison to the same period of the previous year, APA reports citing a report published by the State Customs Committee.

According to the calculations, in this period, the volume of the export has made up 1,063 bln dollars increasing by 20.7% in comparison to the analogical period of the previous year, while the import has made up 1,729 bln dollars decreasing by 1%.

As a result, the negative trade balance in the amount of 665,823 mln. dollars has created in the reporting period that this is 23.1% less than in comparison to the analogical period of 2020.
