Deputy Minister: “Reason for price increase is import products”

“Protection of the principles of competition in the market is one of the important issues,” said Deputy Minister of Economy Sevinj Hasanova at today's meeting of Parliament, APA reports.

Deputy Minister noted that prices of several goods are regulated by the state: “Analysis and observations conducted in our consumption market show that the reason for the price increase is import products. The price increase is observed in goods based on imported raw materials in production. At the same time, increase of transportation expenditures and energy expenditures is one of the factors influencing price increase.”
