By the decision of the board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) dated April 25, 2021, a new structural unit called the Organization and Control Department was established in the ministry, head of press service of Azerbaijani MFA told APA.
The Foreign Ministry official noted that the composition of this structural unit is currently being completing.

The number of departments included in the structure of the Foreign Ministry has been increased.
A new Organization and Control Department has been established at the Foreign Ministry
The departments under the curatorship of the newly appointed Deputy Minister Elnur Mammadov have been identified.
They are the followings:
- America Department;
- Asia Department;
- Permanent Secretariat of the Republic of Azerbaijan for UNESCO
- General Secretariat
- Linguistic support department;
- Archive Department;
- Department of Affairs;
- Special department.
