Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Emergency Situations Minister Yevgeny Zinichev and Federal Security Service Chief Alexander Bortnikov to discuss humanitarian issues in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, APA's Moscow bureau reports.
At the meeting, the Russian President announced the establishment of the Interdepartmental Humanitarian Center to resolve humanitarian issues in Nagorno-Karabakh and restore civil infrastructure.
"We have gathered here to discuss the current situation in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone. I hope that we will no longer use the term "Nagorno-Karabakh conflict," said Putin.
