“There are diseases that lifelong immunity develops after vaccination against these diseases,” said Tayyar Eyvazov, a specialist at the Ministry of Health, said in his speech on COVID-19, APA reports.
He noted that unfortunately, coronavirus is not such infection: “Immunity that develops after infected with a disease and after vaccination weakens after some period.”
According to T. Eyvazov, there is a relative stillness regarding the situation in Azerbaijan: “The situation is under control. We want the situation to remain under control. Currently, although there are those who have been vaccinated with the third dose, but those who have not been vaccinated are not actively participate in vaccination.”
